Description
Finally it's done!
I was working on this for quite some time now, guess it was about 10 days. Every day I chose to colorate a bit and then quit for I wanted to maintain a constante quality in my work. Most of the time when working on a larger piece I tend to rush for I wanna see it finished. This time I restrained myself.. and this is the result.
I like it very very much! This is not an ACEO, but an A5 artrade with Masayoshi220
Done with traditionals, and scan as crappy as always- the colors with the original are way more vivid!
Large file for download!
Oro? DD? Whoa, I never ever expected THIS!

I like very much that work, especially because you took your time doing it (what is also hard for my impatient soul lol) but this one is very interesting : I like how you detailed the folds of the kimono and its shades, I also appreciate the fact that you even drawn the circles of the wood's door and embrasure. The pale colors are well chosen and contrast totally with the warm colors of the character, which make him and his umbrella stand out of the drawing to appear alive. The angle you chose is captivating because it supports Kenshin's confident posture, as if he was just passing by to see if everything was alright, and his look gives you the impression that you're part of the scene. The raindrops are long and defined like could be the clean traces of a katana on a surface, that's why it seems real, and at the same time rough. So to conclude, if I had just one remark to say, it would be about Kenshin's hair, which I personnaly think may need just a little bit more details. Except that, I think your work is amazing and very classy.
